Day One: Margao, Goa
On your arrival in Margao, Goa you will be transferred to the Beautifully restored Portuguese era villa. Visit the village with your hosts who will walk you around and share the history of the place. Old churches and an ancient seminary are great places to see. Picnics by the Zuari river and boat ride are great activities for the evening. You cannot stay in goa and not taste night life of Goa.
Day Two: Margao, Goa
Spend your second day in Goa with a visit to Colva for a day of sun and sand. This popular beach also has plenty of opportunity for adventure enthusiasts with paragliding and banana boat rides both popular options. Goan beach shacks are the perfect place to stop for lunch. Being in the central area of Goa you can also opt to head a little further south to find some exclusive untouched beaches.
Day Three: Margao, Goa
Today visit Morjim, a village situated in north Goa in the Pernem district. It is home to a variety of birds and to the Olive Ridley turtle. Go shopping at the flea market. In the evening head out to the Casinos for some entertainment.
Day Four: Sawantwadi, Maharashtra
Finish you morning breakfast at Goa and drive to Sindhudurg which is 2 hours away and experience rural living at “Homestay located in a 12-acre organic orchard“. Visit to 12-acre cashew, coconut, banana and pineapple farm and some fresh fruit tasting is a good way to spend your afternoon. Go to the factory as well and see how these fruits are processed. Visit the village shopping, bullock cart rides, and shop for some ingredients because you are coming back to cook a traditional Malvani meal with the host. Evening picnic by the beach of Vengurla including ferry ride to the Vengurla fort.
Day Five: Sawantwadi, Maharashtra
There are several options for excursions today. Situated within a 25 kilometers radius of this homestay are Vengurla; a place dotted with pristine beaches, Amboli; a British era hill station and Mangeli Waterfalls, among others.
Day Six: Sawantwadi, Maharashtra
You can either fly into Bangalore or Mangalore and drive to Coorg or drive up from Sindhudurg. You will reach evening or late afternoon. Take it easy and relax and take a walk on the plantation of your homestay “Estate home with old world charm“.
Day Seven : Coorg
Visit Omkareshwar Temple, Raja Seat, Bagamandala, Triveni Sangam, Abbey Falls. Night, come back for a bonfire with short eats. Don’t forget to buy coffee to take back home.
Day Eight: Tala Cauvery, Coorg
Take an early morning trip to Tala Cauvery go to the Dubare elephant camp and the Tibetan Monastery. Spend the evening with a picnic by the river and angling, have a cooking session of Coorgi food with your host and enjoy your dinner to wind up your trip.
